# For agents

2ok is reusable, domain-independent governance building blocks; a website is not an approval server.

2ok is an experimental open-source foundation for agent identities, delegation, immutable specifications, explicit authorizations, protected transactions, evidence and task checkpoints. It is not an autonomous agent or operational control plane.

Start from the [architecture](https://github.com/x2ot/2ok/blob/main/docs/architecture.md) and [independent roadmap](https://github.com/x2ot/2ok/blob/main/docs/migration-roadmap.md). Agents may propose protected actions; only independently controlled systems can authorize and enforce them.
